CNE Inspections is licensed as an asbestos consultant (testing & inspection firm). Consultants survey buildings for asbestos-containing materials, collect bulk samples for accredited lab analysis, design abatement projects, and carry out air monitoring and final clearance testing after removal. If you have not yet confirmed asbestos in writing, a consultant is the right first call — testing typically costs $250–$850 and protects you from paying for removal you may not need.

Best practice is to keep testing and removal independent: hire a consultant to diagnose and a separate abatement contractor to remove. That separation means nobody is grading their own work. After abatement, the consultant’s clearance air test is your proof the space is safe to reoccupy — keep the report with your property records.
